Přibáň Jiří

Jiří Přibáň is a Professor at the Faculty of Law at Charles University and the Cardiff Law School at the University of Wales, where he teaches courses on jurisprudence and the sociology of law. He has also worked as a research fellow/visiting professor at the law schools of the University of San Francisco and the University of Pretoria. In 1989, Profesor Přibáň earned his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law at Charles University, and in 2001 he completed his LL.D. (DrSc.) in legal theory and the sociology of law. He has published numerous works about justice in law, including the legitimacy of the 1989 revolutions from a legal point of view. Currently he is a member of the Editoral Board of Journal of Law and Society, the Advisory Board of Medical Law International, the Research Committee on the Sociology of Law, among others.
